Here is how we generated the self-signed SSL Keys to run locally: SELF-SIGNED KEYS. You don’t have to do anything else to run locally. However, please generate your own keys with a CA for your production environment.

To set the necessary environment variables, open your profile configuration: (MAC)

Below are the environment variables needed for Java, Maven, and SSL keystore paths. Be sure to adjust the paths to match the location of your .jks files, which are stored in the “keys” folder by default. However, you can choose an alternative location for your keys if preferred.
